VR GP Adelaide City General Practice is seeking the services of VR GP in a full-time or part-time capacity. We would ideally be seeking someone wishing to work a minimum of three days per week and willing to participate in a Saturday morning roster. Located amongst the bustle of the CBD and catering to a wide demographic of patients, Adelaide City General Practice offers a number of additional on-site services including a SA Pathology collection centre, dietetics and psychology. Adelaide City General Practice is a mixed billing practice with nine General Practitioners who are well supported by an enthusiastic team of nurses and administrative staff. Medical Receptionist Adelaide City General Practice is seeking to appoint an experienced Medical Receptionist on a permanent part-time basis. The Medical Receptionist is a key member of the practice team and as the first point of contact for patients is pivotal to the overall patient experience of visiting the practice. Adelaide City General Practice is a mixed billing practice located in the Adelaide CBD. We have a very diverse patient base, many of whom are not covered by Medicare, requiring our reception staff to become familiar with a broad range of billing procedures The Medical Reception Team is responsible for the efficient operation of the clinic's day to day operations, for the maintenance and scheduling of the doctors' and practice nurses' activities, for the provision of administrative support to clinical staff and for all matters relating to billing, payments and associated activities. The right person for this role will have the following skills and personal qualities:
A minimum of two years prior experience as a Medical Receptionist.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Exceptional communication skills, both face-to-face and telephone, including the ability to relate to, and communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
High level computer skills.
Experience in the use of Medical Software (the practice uses Medical Director Clinical and Pracsoft)
Current CPR certificate or willingness to obtain same.
Current National Police Check or equivalent.
Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters relating to patient care and the practice in general.
Ability to work as a member of a team.
Flexibility and ability to adapt to change.
Uphold a neat and professional standard of dress.
Willingness to operate within the organisation's policies and procedures.
